About Brushes & Hammers

Brushes & Hammers is run by Aurica, who has more than ten years in renovation and now takes on projects as main contractor. The name says what the work is: the hammer work of building and fitting, and the brush work of plastering, painting and decorating — one team for both, so the finish is as good as the build.

Most of our work comes from recommendations. We work on houses, flats, rental properties and commercial spaces across London, from single rooms to complete renovations. Electrical and plumbing work is carried out by specialist subcontractors who issue the certificates.

Site management is SMSTS-trained, and we hold public liability insurance with Simply Business. What matters to us: a clear written quote before we start, one point of contact all the way through, progress photos on WhatsApp, and a clean property at the end.
